実務経験の内容Description of Relevant Practical Experience
I have been a human resources consultant in Tokyo for about 10 years, providing inhouse training for managers, safety managers, new employees, and other personnel from large and small-medium-sized companies, as well as proposing and training on human resources management. I have also provided employee training for internationalization, such as by introducing debate training.
講師は約10年間、東京において人的資源管理のコンサルタントを行い、大企業から中小企業の経営者や安全管理者、新入社員などの社員研修を提供し、また人的資源管理に関する提案や研修を行ってきた。また社員教育にディベートを導入するなど、国際化に向けての社員教育も行ってきた。
実務経験に関連する授業内容Course Content Related to Practical Experience
My business experiences are relevant to the issues of corporate communication based on organizational rhetoric in global business. In addition, my business relationship with Japanese companies will provide a reality of Japanese business communication to the students.

Students will acquire the practical communication skills needed for strategic information sharing with stakeholders. - Students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge about corporate communication and organizational rhetoric. 授業の概要Course Overview
This advanced seminar focuses on external organizational communication, namely "corporate communication" that consists of public relations and marketing. The central issues in this study is to improve social trust from the society and develop corporate reputation by strategic information sharing with stakeholders.
This seminar incorporates various topics of corporate communication, such as corporate identity, corporate branding and reputation, stakeholder communication, corporate social responsibility, risk management, crisis communication, and media relations. As theoretical foundation, organizational rhetoric is studied with actual cases.
この講義は「実務経験のある教員による授業科目」である。本講義の講師は、ビジネスコンサルタントとして約10年間の企業内研修を立案また講師を務めた実務経験を持ち、10年以上の海外生活の経験を活かして授業を展開する。さらにリスクマネジメントの専門家として、各地で講演を行っている経験を授業に反映する。

課題の種類・内容Homework, Assignments, etc.
1. Chapter Presentation: A pair of students is required to read an assigned chapter in the class materials and present it in the class session.
2. Group presentation: You need to participate in a group project. A group of three or four conducts a small research on the Internet and create a presentation material in English. A presentation will be scheduled in the class. A research topic is related to corporate identity, crisis communication, and workplace diversity. This is case studies to compare two companies which are nested in different cultures.
3. Take-home final exam: You need to complete a final paper about specific questions, which is related to both intercultural and organizational communication. It is a comprehensive exam.
*Details about these assignments and exam should be instructed in class.

Two primarily assignments of group projects are evaluated in 25% effectively. (1) crisis cases and (2)campaign design. A take-home final exam takes 50% in the total grade.
