授業の概要Course Overview
In this class, students study about main themes of cognitive psychology; perception, memory, thinking, and emotion, in English. Lessons are all given in English. In every lesson, students discuss with each other about the topic of the day after a lecture. International students can take this course, so students might discuss with international students.
事前・事後学習、時間等Study Required outside Class(Preparation, etc.)
This is a lecture course, so students are required to study 200 minutes at home in every lesson.
・Students have to prepare for the class by reading Japanese textbook about cognitive psychology and finding out English translation of important terms. (40%)
・After every lesson, students can access slides files via Moodle, so should review the lesson using those files. (60%)

課題の種類・内容Homework, Assignments, etc.
In every lesson, students have to write a short essay about the lesson. Vocabularies are tested three times by mini-examinations. At the end of the course, students have to write a last report.

Students can ask any questions in the short essay, then the teacher will answer them in the next lesson.
成績評価Evaluation
成績評価の方法 / Evaluation Method
DP "A" will be evaluated based on 3 mini-examinations and last reports (70%), DP "B" based on in-class short essays (20%), and DP "D" based on in-class discussions and short essays (10%).
