授業の概要Course Overview
1. Global Liberal Arts (GLA) courses are designed as "Joint Study Course" where Japanese students and international students learn together. Students will explore the "unique characteristics of Japan – including distinctive features, strengths, weaknesses" as well as "global contexts and trends" across various fields. Through the perspective of "Japan in the global context," students will recognize the differences between Japan and the world and collaboratively envision a better future for the world.
2. In addition to theoretical instruction through lectures, GLA courses emphasize collaboration between Japanese and international students through activities such as group work and discussions. The primary language of instruction will be English.
3. This course aims to help students understand Japan's legal and political issues and challenges. It deals with the basic concepts of law and politics in Japan. It also focuses on Japan's diplomatic challenges in recent years, including security, economy, military, and cultural issues. At the end of the course, students will make a presentation about the future relations between Japan and other countries.
