This class will primarily improve students’ reading and listening (including grammar) in order to acquire the ability to think, judge, express, etc., which are the foundations of learning and research, and can utilize them in a wide range of fields.
学びや研究の基盤となる思考力・判断力・表現力等を獲得し、幅広い領域に活用できるよう、この授業では、英語の「読む・聞く」の2技能を取り入れた授業を英語で展開する（文法を含む）。

授業の概要Method of Instruction

Explicit instruction in and practice of listening and reading skills, including pronunciation, as well as some speaking, will develop language proficiency. Activities to build academic skills, such as critical thinking and discussion, are also integrated with each unit.
The teacher conducts classes in English.

Each week students will need to complete the homework posted online on Moodle as preparation for the next lesson. In order to gain credit each week the homework must therefore be finished before the next class.
